Fin 1st Sailing

Another light wind play-time maneuver is riding the board fin first. In this depiction, I also demonstrate a very slow board 360.

Steps

Tips for step 1)  Unhook, get out of the straps. Sheet out and head the board downwind.
Tips for step 2)  Let the board ride dead downwind.
Tips for step 3)   Step the back foot to the front of the board and weight that foot. Then sheet in the sail.
Tips for step 4)  Start sailing fin first, positioning your front foot close to the mast base.
Tips for step 5)  Guide the board with your front foot and the sail.
Tips for step 6)  Move the mast forward/backward to turn the tail of the board in the direction you want.
Tips for step 7)  Ditto...
Tips for step 8)  Turn the tail of the board downwind and step both feet to the front of the board.
Tips for step 9)  Step the new backfoot around the mast.
Tips for step 10)  Stabilize the board.
Tips for step 11)  Complete the board rotation.
