Steps

Tips for step 1)   Unhook and head into a nice steep ramp relaxed and leaning slightly forward.
Tips for step 2)  Move your back hand a little forward and jump off a ramp across the wind.
Tips for step 3)  While sheeting out with the back hand then throw the feet up and over your head.
Tips for step 4)  Look for the tail of your board under you arm pit or down at the tip of the board.
Tips for step 5)   Push the back foot out and extend it.
Tips for step 6)   Ditto...
Tips for step 7)   Ditto...
Tips for step 8)    Now the landing. If you head to far up wind then the landing can be very flat and hard on the board.
Tips for step 9)  Bring the feet down.
Tips for step 10)  Hopefully tail first.

Tips

  • To get really tweaked on this move, throw your head back. This seems to extend your back foot an extra few inches.
  • Try to straighten the back leg complete straight so that you feel a big stretch all the way up your leg.
  • Move the back hand forward on the boom so you can reach the leg further around the boom.
