This maneuver is also called The-Bomb. Why? I have no idea because there is nothing explosive about it. Maybe someone can email me and explain. Although a simple variation to the legacy Nose-Tack maneuver; the beauty of this move is the sudden and counter rotation of the body while the board is tacking. A great light wind maneuver and rarely performed. I first saw this move performed by a British sailor in Maui named Ally; who is not only a graceful sailor but a damned good accountant from what I hear. So much of windsurfing is watching other sailors and incorporating a little of their style in yours. Thank you Ally and drop me an email if you are out there.
