Rodeo Flip |
|
A radical and rare aerial maneuver first introduced in Europe.
This maneuver starts as a Cheese-Roll with the back hand released
to fling the body over mast followed by the sail.
Start this move by charging a steep wave and throwing a Cheese-Roll. As the sail is laid horizontal to the water then release the back hand and toss it over your back. Also, throw your head. Your body will flip around the axis of the mast so the nose of your board is pointing toward the sky. Pull hard on the boom to force the sail to flip, albeit a little later than your body. The sail will flip and grab the boom with the open hand. Preferable before you hit the water. Trim the sail and sail away. |
