1)
Head slightly up wind and wiggle your front foot so it is loose in the straps.

Jump out of the water and pull the front foot out of the strap.
3)
Drop the leg and extend it followed by letting go of the boom with the front hand.
4)
Extend both appendages for maximum style. The board will begin to turn off the wind.
6)
Now reach for the boom with your open hand.
7)
Followed by landing the board and returning the foot in the footstrap.
